Angostura 5yrs Superior Gold Rum : Angostura® 5 YR old rum is an exquisite blend of light gold rums, aged for a minimum of five years in used bourbon oak barrels and distilled in Angostura’s multi-column continuous still in Trinidad. Carefully filtered through charcoal before blending, this is a luminescent clear rum with subtle golden highlights. An exquisite blend of light rums, this rum is aromatic with light woody notes of coconut, caramel, lemon, hints of vanilla and nuances of tropical fruits.

TASTING NOTES

Colour: a golden luminescent colour with green and orange reflections on the edge of the glass

Nose: a strong, aromatic nose with light woody notes of coconut, caramel, lemon zest and a hint of vanilla

Taste: soft and delicate with nuances of tropical fruits, mangoes and bananas

Finish: quick and lightly spiced with a sweet buttery fade
