Grand Cru from St-Emilion, Carillon d’Angelus is a wine that needs no introduction. Like the Grand Vin, this Second is made from grapes selected from different terroirs in keeping with its style. Appreciated for its purity and elegance, it also has incredible cellaring potential. The 2019, in its sublime garnet color, presents an intense nose of blackberry, enhanced by delicate woody notes. The palate, mellow from the outset, develops a fine tannic structure. The tension that underlines the finish suggests a superb evolution of the wine over the years.
