Silk & Spice Red : Illustrated on the Silk & Spice bottle is a reinterpretation of an original XV century map, from The Age of Discovery. The map details the largest bay in the world, the Bay of Bengal, which represents Asia’s gateway and separates southern and eastern Asia.

The Portuguese coat of arms is artfully depicted to symbolize the bravery of these maritime explorers. And of course, Vasco da Gama’s caravel is paramount, its voyage helped shape the history of the world.

The Wine

A ruby coloured red wine blend, characterized by intense aromas of ripe red and black fruit, such as blackberries and ripe plum. A spicy character evokes vanilla, black pepper and pink peppercorn, combined with hints mocha. It is full-bodied with a balanced taste, very soft tannins and a long and balanced finish.

The exquisite grapes of Touriga Nacional, Baga, Alicante Bouchet and Syrah, the first three of which are native Portugal, are carefully selected and vinified separately.
